Project Description: The main project objectives of the project were

• To assist the department with the management of all housing projects within the Sekhukhune District Municipality.
• To provide the knowledge base support to enhance the capacity of the housing project management; and
• To advise the department with regard to specific interventions needed to address the shortfalls and gaps in housing delivery in order to fulfil its obligations in terms of:

1.  Meeting housing delivery needs
2. Intergrated sustainable human settlements (ISHS) policies including Breaking New Ground (BNG)
3. Meeting construction norms and standards within housing
4. Compliance with Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)and the Division of Revenue Act (DORA)
